Educational Assemblies and Presentations

What programs do you offer?
We currently have programs based on our projects: The Shark Riddle, A Pirate's Quest, The Riddle in a Bottle and the In the Woods Series. Click below to watch our footage of people "basking" in the glow of our basking shark, which we bring for our shark programs. (If you don't see a video clip below, try refreshing the page. It should show up.)
The Shark Riddle Presentation Do you like sharks? Do you know someone who likes sharks? This is an awesome shark-filled presentation based on the award-winning children's film The Shark Riddle. Click here to learn more about it.
Oceans, Writing and Pirates Ahoy! Do you like pirates? Do you love the ocean? Are you interested in underwater filmmaking? This is a great presentation based on the award-winning children's book A Pirate's Quest and the underwater movie The Riddle in a Bottle. Click here to learn more about it.
How are your programs unique?
Our programs are very interactive and age-appropriate. We work hard to provide a good mix of education and entertainment -- mixing stories, music, video clips, art, and humor with learning theory.
What ages do you perform for?
When we visit schools, we usually target programs toward elementary students. When we visit libraries and museums, we often do family programs geared toward multiple age groups. We have also done special programs for teachers, luncheons for adult groups and wildlife filmmaking/photography workshops for youth. We are very flexible. We are based out of Oregon and Michigan, so we especially focus on author and library visits in those areas.

A few quotes
"Thank you so much for being the highlight of our March is Reading Month Celebration. All grades, all genders, ethnicities and learners loved your presentations! Your presence made such an impact that we can't keep the books on the shelves and the movies are getting check out over and over again! Thanks for sharing your love for literature, nature and enthusiasm! With much appreciation." - Melissa C., Media Specialist, Michigan
"Dear Sisbro, When you came to the assembly at our school, for almost every second I was giggling. I really like your Riddle in a Bottle story. During the movie, I really enjoyed thinking about what the answer could be. I was also wondering if you made any other movies? My favorite character was the eel. 'Hello? Anybody home? Don't worry about me. I just want to eat you.' The eel was really funny. I also liked the tide fish. P.S. Tide!!!"
-- Sarah, a 4th grader from California
"Your presentation was dazzling! Your humor and energy demonstrated such enthusiasm for creating your books and movies that our Cherry Creek CHAMPS are motivated to publish their own work this month. THANK YOU!" -- Cherry Creek Elementary Staff
"This brother/sister duo has proven to be one of the most dynamic, educational and simply unforgettable presenters that Kingsbury School has ever hosted. With their quick wit, endless energy, not to mention their gift of musical talent, these two pack so much fun into their presentations that students and teachers begged me to bring them back again soon.”-- Jane Saxon, Library Director, Michigan
