Swimming in Air

Today, my neighbors watched me lie face-down on a tiny table in my backyard and pretend to swim.  And did I mention I was dressed like a pirate?  We were taking pictures of me in pirate poses to use as reference for our upcoming children’s picture book.  Basically, I pose like a pirate in various ridiculous scenarios, and our illustrator Heiner Hertling paints me into nature scenes for the book.  We took about 50 photos just to get one in which we liked my pirate swimming style. -- Robert Sams
